We are excited to announce that MPS is in the process of moving toward using a new form of secure school-to-home communication called StudentSquare (and ParentSquare) beginning fall 2024.
Once fully implemented, all MPS district and school, grade level, athletics, emergency notifications, and classroom information will be sent to you via email and/or text through StudentSquare.
Parents and guardians will engage using the ParentSquare App and secondary students (7th to 12th) will use the StudentSquare App. Both apps are free through your device’s app store.
Please note: Some classroom communication will still be sent via the Canvas Learning Management System during the school year.
This unified communications platform will keep parents and guardians informed quickly and encourage greater engagement and connection to:
- Send and receive school & class information
- Share pictures & files
- See calendar items & sign-up to volunteer
