We are excited to announce that MPS is in the process of moving toward using a new form of secure school-to-home communication called ParentSquare beginning this fall.

Once fully implemented, all MPS district and school, grade level, athletics, emergency notifications, and classroom information will be sent to you via email and/or text through ParentSquare.

Parents and guardians will engage using the ParentSquare App and secondary students (7th to 12th) will use the StudentSquare App. Both apps are free through your device’s app store.

Please note: Some classroom communication will still be sent via the Canvas Learning Management System during the school year.

If your student is participating in an MPS-affiliated summer program like band, athletics, etc., you may start to receive ParentSquare notifications soon, and you will be invited to create an account.

This unified communications platform will keep parents and guardians informed quickly and encourage greater engagement and connection with your student(s) school. ParentSquare provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, coaches, staff, and parents to:

  • Send and receive school & class information
  • Share pictures & files
  • See calendar items & sign-up to volunteer
  • Schedule parent-teacher conferences & more, all in one centralized place!

We appreciate your assistance through this process and look forward to continued excellence in connectivity with our families.
