To get started with your teacher page, you'll first want to give it a name so that your students can find it. These instructions will get you up and running:

• Log in to your Clever Portal
• Click on My Page in the navigation bar at the top of the page
• Click on Untitled to rename your page so that your students can find it easily
• Add a description
• Once you're ready to publish your page to your students, just click the Visible to students button!

Adding links to your teacher page is a quick and easy process! Just follow these steps:

• Click on the Add resources button in the right-hand sidebar
• Search for a resource or paste a URL into the field
• Choose an icon to represent your link
• Enter a title to help your students locate the link
• Choose a category for your link to appear under
• Click Add resource

Clever Tip: You are also able to upload your own icons to any of your resources! Just select Edit and Upload to add a file from your computer to your resource. Icons images must be .png file format and less than 2MB.

To make your links easier to find for your students, you can organize them into different categories. Categories can help you separate your resources by class, topic, or however you see fit. You can reorder and delete categories by using the arrows and trash can icons next to the category name.

Please note: All resources and links must be within a category. This means that we require at least one category to organize your resources under.

Once set up, you can always reorganize your resources and links by clicking and dragging them around. If you'd like to add a category without adding a resource, you can click the drop-down arrow next to Add resources in the right-hand sidebar.

You can also delete your resources that your students no longer need to access. To do this, just follow these instructions:

1. Hover over the resource or link you'd like to remove
2. Click Edit
3. In the sidebar that opened, first click the drop-down arrow next to Save
4. Click Delete resource

All of your students that are in your sections will be able to see your teacher page! When they log into their Portal, they will be able to see your teacher page as an icon:

The Clever Library is easily accessed from your existing Clever Portal. Here’s how to use it:

1. Log in to your Clever Portal
2. Click on Library in the navigation at the top of the page
3. Browse around for resources you might want to use with your classes.

Adding resources from the Library is quick and easy! When you find a resource you want to try, click the blue button in the top right corner:

Installing an application will not only add it to your teacher page, it will also automatically set up single-sign on accounts for you and your students – no need to hand enter student information or print out password cards!

Many applications require data from your Clever account in order to set up single sign-on; when installing an resource, Clever will verify that you want to share this data.

This is similar to the screen you might see when you log in to a website with a Google or Microsoft account.

Before installing a new resource, please confirm that the application follows your district’s policies regarding data security and privacy.

Note: some resources in the Library don’t support Single Sign-On or automatic account creation. For those resources, you’ll see a different button, and a notice that you’ll need to set up accounts on your own. When you add one of these to your Teacher Page, it will be a simple link, and won’t provide single sign-on for you or your students.

Students can’t browse resources in the Clever Library, but they can see any resources you add for them onto your Teacher Page!

Be sure to go to your Teacher Page and make it visible to students

When teachers log in, they’ll enter Homeroom, just like their students! From this new landing page, they can find all their favorite resources, create class pages, and access favorites.

We know teachers don’t have time to be searching for things. That’s why we’ve improved our search so that they can find anything on their portal – and we mean anything.

The new search bar helps teachers find apps, students, resources, and more.

Teachers love to make their classrooms their own — why should that be any different in a digital classroom? Now teachers can customize and organize the resources in their portal so that it makes sense for them. Teachers can create a Page for each section, summer school, small group, or after school. The possibilities are endless!

Keep those favorite resources handy! With the click of a “heart”, teachers can favorite a resource to move it from their District Applications page to their Homeroom page for easy access.
